Hello, I'm Quan!

Three years ago, I tore my ACL in a car accident. The rehabilitation process was very difficult but my physical therapist was able to take me from crawling, to walking, to running again! I was involved in Football, Basketball, Cross Country, Wrestling, and Track all throughout High School, so learning to be functional again really showed me the little things I took for granted. Once I got back on my feet, I knew that I wanted to give people the gift of physical fitness the same way it had been returned to me.  I believe that change begins when we are honest with ourselves about where we are at, only then can we begin molding ourselves into who we want to be.

I have been working with Quan for about the last 2 months and it has been a wonderful experience. He has shown me many techniques to build strength and lose weight over the bi-weekly meetups. I tend to be someone who when I put my mind to something I will strive to follow through but knowing that Quan was in my corner helping and rooting for me (even on the days we didn't have scheduled) was the encouragement I needed to give 110%. He was always welcoming me into the gym with comments of encouragement and fist bumps. 

 

When I signed up for the gym and training I was pushing 300 pounds which was the heaviest I've ever been and never wanted to see on the scale, but after working with Quan I'm down a little over 15 pounds and my measurements look a lot better. I feel a lot more energy during the day with both exercising and taking the recommended vitamins. I feel with the knowledge provided to me the days that I don't have meetups have been greatly improved as I know more about different exercises and machines so I feel comfortable doing more things on my own.
