I have been training with Eric for about 9 months. He is fun, supportive, relatable, kind, motivating and will tell you how it is. His training style is engaging and he is very hands on and constructive in his teaching. Through personal training with him it has shown me just how strong I am, not just physically but also mentally. It has brought out my inner competitiveness and ‘Bad Ass-ness’ but it is still a working progress.


My strength and endurance has greatly improved. I was never a person to be able to jog or run but now I’m able to hit cardio for about 20-30 minutes. As far as physical differences my shoulders have been the most noticeable difference but I am overall more toned than I have ever been. But it hasn’t been easy. There have been many times that Eric would take me to the bar (in the gym to do bar hangs) or during arm day doing tricep push downs and my arm would be so exhausted it couldn’t do anymore and Eric would say “come on, just push the weight” - as if I wasn’t trying!


During our time training together, I have participated in three GYFT challenges. The competition gave me other opportunities to try different bootcamps and have support from other people who are on the same journey. When you surround yourself with like minded or people with common goals you have much greater success. Being a part of Team Manley is just so fun. I love to see and be a part of a group working hard to try and bring a victory for the team and coach Eric. You also put your best foot forward because you don't want to let the team down. The other awesome thing about Team Nights is that we are all at different parts of our journey but that doesn't matter - the support and encouragement is the same for everyone.

Eric is more than a coach, he is like a family/friend, a brother in Christ, a workout partner that gives instruction, observes what you’re doing and helps you improve to get the most out of a specific movement or exercise.


I had been working out on my own for at least 3 years before I started training with Eric. The amount of progress I have achieved in such a short time compared to trying it on my own speaks volume to his training. I would highly recommend Eric as your personal trainer.
